Vancouver Mini Maker Faire is just around the corner!

Our favourite festival of the year is just around the corner! The fourth annual Vancouver Mini Maker Faire is happening June 7th and 8th at the PNE Forum. They have tonnes of stuff going on this year, including a new Workshop Series, an attempt to smash the Guinness World Record for Most People Crocheting Simultaneously (Want to join the record attempt? Sign up here.), and more than 100 Makers exhibiting their projects at this year’s show!

We’ll be at the Faire like we are every year, doing a free activity with Faire attendees, and we could use your help! We’ve found ourselves a little (well, ok, a lot) short-handed this year. If you have a few hours to spare that weekend and are interested in helping us out, we’d love to have you! We’re especially looking for help from any of you who have some needle-felting experience, since that’s what we’ll be teaching people how to do. If you want to help but have never needle-felted before, that’s ok – we’ve got plenty of tasks to go around! Please shoot an email to brigitte@diyordie.ca if you can lend a helping hand. Helpers will earn our undying gratitude, and admission to the Faire for the weekend.

See you there!
