I Love Sushi (Beginner Needle-Felting)

Vancouverites sure do love their sushi!  Join us to learn how to make colourful (albeit fuzzy) needle-felted nibbles. In this class, we’ll cover basic wool properties, fundamental needle felting techniques, rolling a firm core, adding roving embellishments, blending colours, as well as shaping and finishing techniques. Beginners can expect to make one piece of sushi, although leaving with two or even three pieces is common.  We will have rare-earth magnets available for those who wish to put these on the fridge at home, and catnip available for those who want to make a little sushi toy for their furry friends. Cost includes all materials and use of tools.
